Locomotiv was raised in the south part of London. No father figure with a mum that was barely there. Locomotiv found the streets and claimed no gang times were sticky for him. With a central and north american influence to his background he found a lot of comfort through music. Locomotiv was influenced by garage and hip hop music. Eminem, 2 pac, Nas, Big Pun and Big L were his biggest musical influences growing up. He would mess about with friends trying to freestyle mimicking his influencers flows.

 

Locomotiv grew up in an era where you had to prove yourself worthy on the street to gain respect which would end up in two predicaments which most people would be in growing up with the council estate lifestyle. Locomotiv got the better option but still ended up spending nearly half a decade behind prison walls . Hitting rock bottom and losing everything Locomotiv was left to rot on his own and he had to find the strength to get back up. He had to find a way to control the aggression he had since a young buck. Loco started using his time writing music, taking course in music and life skills he gained knowledge and a way to vent his anger without hurting people.

Shortly coming out of prison Locomotiv started trying to find a studio or someone to record him freestyling. Having conditions not to go in his old area it was hard for him to get hold of his contacts to do something. Loco was soon giving up on his dream he wanted to persue and thought he'd be stuck looking after a guy with multiple sclerosis and some dead end job at Thorpe Park. His luck was to change when he had a convasation with his young friend "Greezer", if it weren't for Greezer Loco probably would of stopped traveling from feltham to hackney just for studio time and given up on the dream, Greezer was able to introduce Loco to DC (Big Up DC..broski from day) which at the time DC was running a YouTube channel Jetpack Ent. DC loved Locos vibe and told him he can hook him up with studio if he followed him which Loco then met Rinse. All blessing go to Rinse because Rinse put on and put in work for Loco on his old stuff, so big up Rinse. Locomotiv is now an up and coming rapper that the game should fear. Several years later and our aims are bigger than a Mobo.
